Cacao Design presents Basquiat through the hidden words with which he identified.

On the occasion of the exhibition of the artist Jean Michel Basquiat at the Mudec in Milan, held from 28/10/2016 to 26/02/2017, Cacao Design was commissioned by SOLE 24 ORE Cultura to devise a visual concept with which to coordinate all the accompanying the image of the exhibition: from the graphics of the installation to the posters, to the merchandising gadgets and finally to the catalogue.
“I delete the words, so that they can be noticed”. This sentence by the artist is the focal point around which the graphic proposal was built: an isolated, erased and hidden word, black on white. A visceral and unscrupulous gesture, simple letters and an essential trait that visually and semantically, indirectly, recall the American artist.
